I am a huge hard-core wheeling fan that is always working on some sort of project.   My latest 4×4 craze has turned to the 2.5 ton rockwell axle.

I have spent 100’s of hours researching and building hardcore wheeling rigs and prefer the toploader military axles for the full-size rigs that I build.   My latest project “Squatch” was a dual-steering rockwell based crew cab totally built and rebuild by me.     This blog is designed to take you through the decisions I made and why I am still a huge rockwell axle fan.

Update…   While I have moved on from wheeling and evolved into fishing/boating.   I still really enjoyed building squelch and all of the fabrication and rebuilding work that went into it.    I am keeping this site alive for other rockwell axle fans.
